Perago Trust recipient Emma Wilke gives an update on her training and competition.
Now with the netball season all over I have an update on the two teams I was fortunate enough to be a part of.
My Lincoln A team won the premier grade in Christchurch. I was also chosen for Lincoln University team to play in the NZ Uni netball competition in Wellington where we came runners up .
Having the scholarship helped me pay for flights to this competition, plus physio prior to these games and extra nutritional supplements throughout the season.
I'm very thankful for your support.
Overall I have been very fortunate to be a team member of three fantastic teams, Mainland NNL, Lincoln A and Lincoln Uni games teams with every team making finals.
Every team has brought new learnings, resilience, friendships and which has been a great experience for me.
